Brotherly Discourse Podcast episode one: Girls, Wingmen, and Football

Here you go poeple: In the first ever episode of the Brotherly Discourse Podcast, Hans and Logan talk about Hans' man crush for Chris Hemsworth, how Logan is a terrible wingman for Hans, the battle for the best MCU movie, football, life, and how girls flirt. Plus, they screw up their very first outro. Lots of laughs and possibly some tears, and most importantly, this episode features music from The Starship Renegade with a cool song called "Aftermath". You can find them on iTunes and Amazon mp3.

  2. There were so many times I wanted to join in the conversations.

Please tell me you weren't serious about girls not shaving their legs. That's just nasty.

Gravity was all about letting go of the thing that weighs down. It took the whole movie for Sandra Bullock's character to finally let go of the loss of her daughter. When she did she was able to return to Earth, to live.

Avengers was amazing, because we can see how all our favorite super heroes interact. The action was awesome. Personally I think every movie could use more explosions.

Now about Chris Hemsworth as Thor. It's when you put his body on top of the strength of character that makes him irresistible. From all my conversations with friends, I've determined that every woman deep down wants a man to take leadership. Taller and bigger guys tend to win out, because they can envelope a woman completely. She wants to feel loved and protected. If this concept is applied to character it doesn't matter if a guy is short or what. Take care of all the details of a date. Stand up for her against anyone even if it's her family. Learn her love language whether it's words or touch or acts of service or gifts...

I also will say what I tell my nephews. EVERY girl is crazy. Find the least crazy and marry her.

It's not just middle schoolers who stalk. Grown ups do it too.

As far as how to tell when a girl like a guy, I'd say you guys are accurate. Only it depends on the girl. A lot of those things can be attributed to nervous habits. I have a lot of them. I've been accused of flirting when I'm not. I hate to burst your bubbles, but the biting of the lip can me nerves, or concentration or thinking about what you said. Try and look for several signs. If they aren't all there, then it might just been coincidence. It still could be, but the only way you'll find out is by making a move.

  3. Thank you for your awesome assessment of the first episode especially answering the lip biting question. Please feel free to burst away. We appreciate it, because (if it isn't obvious already) we're new to this. Any and all comments (and complaints) are welcome.

To answer your question about shaved legs, I threw that out there as example of compromise. My girlfriend would never say yes to it so I would win that battle at least. Otherwise, in all honesty, I personally don't find leg hair gross or to be a turn off. I know, I'm weird. Hopefully that weirdness will bring fun to the show.
